The growing demand for new products and solutions is making the market increasingly competitive in an industrial scenario of post-pandemic recovery. In this article, learn about some of Yaskawa's welding solutions.
The pressure experienced lately in the market, combined with the high prices of materials, the scarcity of raw materials, the difficulty of the distribution chains and the continuous labor crisis, are some of the factors that are leading companies to realign their sales strategies and plans, evaluating whether the investment in new equipment and peripheral technologies will optimize or not their operations.
Doing more with less and implementing state-of-the-art technology including automation and robotics is increasingly the ideal solution. Aligning the workflow with the integration of industrial or even collaborative robots and peripheral technologies is thus one of the options to help speed up production.
In addition to the fact that in our daily lives, various industrial dilemmas are addressed and fed, the automation and robotics boom is the result of more accessible, flexible and intuitive solutions. Seeking to take technology to new levels of evolution, Yaskawa Motoman has been combining simple-to-use tools and efficient programming methods, creating increasingly broad user groups for certain industrial applications.
In addition to a wide range of robots, today we present some standard solutions dedicated to the welding area, this type of production process being one of the specialties in which Yaskawa is a world reference, with Roboplan as one of its partners.
ArcWorld CS Welding Cell - Built to optimize the production of medium to large parts, the ArcWorld is a standard CE marked welding cell. In the standard version, it comprises a 6-axis AR1440 industrial robot (may have twin robots), a positioner with two stations, a controller and power supply, all mounted on a common platform. Each robot uses a YRC1000/DX200 controller and an integrated welding power supply that is mounted on a common base for easy configuration. Prepared to integrate the most advanced welding equipment, ArcWorld CS is a cost effective solution, prepared to deal with several product references and that offers a practical, accessible and clean working area for the robot and the operator respectively.
ArcWorld RS & HS Welding Cells – like the larger models in the ArcWorld family, the ArcWorld RS and HS are mobile, easy-to-install cells ideal for pre-assembly of parts before they are welded into a larger cell. Equipped with a GP7 industrial robot, the cell features a selection of advanced programming functions that maximize weld quality and increase robot speed.
YASKAWA Weld4Me - This mobile robotic station is equipped with an HC10 collaborative robot, a compact YRC1000 controller and the corresponding welding equipment and it’s ideal to complement manual MIG/MAG welding. Small in size and easy to move with a simple hand pallet truck, it is able to offer consistent welding quality and is suitable for some production processes. Features four modes of collaborative operation, including Power and Force Limiting (PFL) to allow operation with or in close proximity to human workers. Depending on production requirements, the HC10 can switch between collaborative speed in PFL mode or full speed in industrial mode. It can even operate without additional protective measures, depending on risk assessment and process requirements. Its IP67 rating also allows operation in harsh welding environments.
AlmaCAM Weld - is offline programming software for welding robots. Through a graphical interface and a friendly virtual environment, it is possible to program a robot faster, using quality welding conditions. This solution is ideal for optimizing the utilization rate of your robots.
If you are looking to optimize your welding process, these and other solutions, sometimes tailored to your needs, will be an investment with a guaranteed return in the short/medium term.
