Yaskawa launches its new 30 kg collaborative robot

The HC30PL is the human collaboration robot with a payload of 30 kg.

Yaskawa reaffirms itself as a pioneer company in the production of industrial robots thanks to its new collaborative robot HC30PL.

With a load capacity of up to 30 kg and a reach of 1,700 mm (center of rotation of the axis S/L to the center of rotation of the axis R/T), the HC30PL is the ideal robot for industrial applications, being able to be operated directly inside your radius of action without your operators needing additional security measures.

This robot is perfect for sealless collaborative palletizing installations as it combines safe operation and high speed.

Following a market trend in which the demand for robotics solutions has increased exponentially, Yaskawa presents this new solution as the best option for integration of automation processes.

The HC30PL manages to increase productivity thanks to its ability to handle large parts and multiple parts at the same time, something that not only reduces production costs, but also saves valuable space in production centers.

This new robot maintains the same basic principles that guide the development of all Yaskawa collaborative robots. It can be operated and programmed using manual mode, the standard learning console or the smart console (Smart Pendant). For particularly efficient programming using manual mode, there are direct programming buttons on the arm that can be used to accept manually taught positions without needing to confirm at the console. This reduces programming time and makes this the most suitable robot for both professional system integrators and beginners.

This is the best professional collaborative robot thanks to its safety functions, such as automatic retraction from a fixed position or simply moving the robot away with the restart of the movement. In addition, it has specifications such as the high degree of protection IP67 (dust/liquid proof), and FGG approval (its coating allows it to be used in applications that require contact with food or applications that require washing with water).

The HC30PL is designed to work both in a supervised and safe manner, but also in solutions that require superior power and speed. This mixed operation (hybrid robot) guarantees excellent cycle times.
